Relationships Interiors Therapy & Feng Shui Mindset Clutter

What's right in front of you?

May 20, 2021

Are you hearing what your home has to say?

Are you seeing the writing on the wall?

How does it feel when you walk in?

A year or so ago, I did mini consultation with a guy.

Getting on the video call, it was one of those situations where you know, in your heart of hearts, that this is not going anywhere!🤦

Not because they don’t need the support –this man needed it in spades…

He just didn’t believe it.

It hadn’t been his choice to call, he just wanted to get the colleague who recommended Interiors Therapy off his back.

I quickly and gently pointed out some of the ways his home was describing what had subsequently happened in his life and gave him some quick-start solutions.

He wasn’t listening – he hadn’t taken any notice when his own girlfriend was trying to explain why she was leaving him – why would he accept what an expert opinion?

I thanked him for his time and reassured him that when he was ready his home would support him if he was willing to do the work.

I didn’t expect to hear anything. Ever!

I only choose to work with people who really want to make change for the better.

Today the man sent me some photos.

Things are breaking all around him.

Solid shelves, in place for years, have given way.

Taps are dripping.

A cupboard of treasured possessions, securely fastened to the wall, tipped and smashed everything inside.

Screws are coming loose all around his home.

Go figure!

His home is trying so hard to ask for help. It is telling him what is going on.

He is STILL not listening – he thinks it’s coincidence!

Although I do wonder why he kept my number?

So what about you?

Are you nurtured and nourished when you walk through the door or unwelcome in your own space?

When are you going stop blaming the big wide world and start looking closer to home?
